Big news Tumblr: I am training (ahem, working my fat ass off) for a 2014 summit of Mt Kilimanjaro! Pretty soon I’ll begin fundraising. Our 2012 Goal
Is to hike 500 miles before the end of the year. An ambitious goal, but totally accessible. This will lead to new wilderness recipes and lessons for this little old tumblr too! So far: 2/12 Cascade Head 4.5 miles 3/4 Peavy Arboretum 4.2 miles 3/11 Eagle Creek 4.5 miles Current total: 13.2 Miles Not too shabby for one month of winter! More soon.
We’ve set some hiking goals for ourselves for the year! We’re shooting for 500 miles this year….and I, personally think we can beat it! Our first hike of 2012 coming this weekend!
